The Chinese old saying: “Do not blame the man who knows nothing” (不知者不怪). Sharon Stone’s statements that the May 12 earthquake may have been the result of bad Karma over China’s treatment of Tibet have brought outrage worldwide and may have a negative impact on her super star status. With 4 movies slated to come out over the next for years, there have been estimates that she could loose as much as $56,000,000 hopefully teaching Ms. Stone a lesson on the true impact of “bad karma”. As the Chinese old saying, that is, “A carpenter in a cangue; suffering from one’s own endeavors (木匠带枷、自作自受) (meaning suffering the unfavorable consequences of one’s own mistakes)! One can only hope that Ms. Stone’s mistakes will persuade other popular actors to use their fame to help the people of China to overcome this trying and difficult time.
