The End of Alliance/Test Obama-XIII/ Japan Passing-IV

It is unusual for the Prime Minister of Japan to leave a guest of state during their visit.  However, when the US President Barack Obama delayed his visit Japan for 24 hours due to domestic affairs, this is exactly what happened. The Japanese prime minister left for the APEC meeting in Singapore. Since WWII, it is unthinkable that a Japanese Prime Minister would leave the US President alone in Tokyo.  The delay of Obama’s trip to Asia resulted in reducing his visit to Japan to one day.  His trip to China, however, was not reduced reflecting a move in US foreign policy away from Japan and towards China. Does this indicate the beginning of the end of Japanese-U.S Alliance??
