Google vs. the Chinese Government
Google threatened that it might shut down its China-based Google.cn site based upon concerns about censorship and hacking its mail service within China. As Siva Yam, President of United States of America-China Chamber of Commerce states, “As long as you aren’t involved in politics, the media or pornography, the government will leave you alone (Japan Times).” It is certainly the case in China.
